This directory contains information about PATRIC genomes
in downloadable flatfile formats.  Directories are organized
first by organism category, then by genome name.


The files are present in the following formats:

*.gff = GFF3 flat file format
*.ffn = Nucleic Acid sequences in FASTA format
*.faa = Amino Acid sequences in FASTA format
*.og  = Information about ortholog groups with their members 
	in tab delimited format

*_pathways = Directory containing pathway data for a genome in a 
	     set of flat files. Formats of these files are defined 
	     at: http://bioinformatics.ai.sri.com/ptools/flatfile-format.html

*.tar.gz = Unix tar and compressed files

We also provide tar files to facilitate downloading.

If you want to download all files for a particular organism category 
(for example, Brucella), download Brucella/Brucella.tar.gz

If you want to download a specific type of files related to an organism 
category (for example, gff3 files in Brucella), download 
Brucella/Brucella.gff3.tar.gz

If you want to download all files for every organism category (and thus 
every organism in the database), download PATRIC.tar.gz

If you want to download a specific type of file of every organism 
category (and thus every organism in the database), (for example, gff3 
files), download PATRIC.gff3.tar.gz
